Each course is unique because it is customised to suit your photography business. The course includes:
Day 1:
Detailed critical analysis of your business, equally valuable to both new and established photographers. With a strong sales & marketing bias, this day will help you to view your business from a whole new perspective and teach you how to increase bookings, average sales and generate new business. Also addresses many business management and productivity issues.
- We’ll analyse how you run your business
- What type of photography you do and do you attract the right type of clients?
- How do you market the business?
- How do you analyse enquiries and sales?
- Do you pre-sell?
- Does your studio layout help do the selling for you?
- Do your samples help or hinder the selling process?
- Is it right to display or hide prices? At what stage do you show your customers a full price list?
- Too much or too little product choice?
- Why should the prospect choose you and not another photographer who is a bit cheaper or a bit nearer?
- What is your USP (unique selling point)?
- What is your guarantee and does you client know about it?
- Do you keep your promises (e.g. delivery dates)?
- Why should the client recommend you - what was outstanding about you and your service?
- How did you follow up the sale? What do you mean you didn't?
- When did you next contact the client?
- Why should they come back to you and what for?
Day 2:
How to use TPO, covering every aspect of the database and teaches you how to modify many elements for your own needs. Also includes actual customisation of some of your own letter templates, setting up products, accounts and much more so your copy is ready to be put to work. We will also demonstrate how to use TPO to analyse your data to improve targeted marketing and how to use the results to help your business become more productive and more profitable.
General:
Throughout the two days we will also share many marketing & sales tips, ideas to generate repeat business, how to create loyalty and get recommendations and much more. If you're not familiar with accounting practice, we'll try and spend some time covering over the basics - it's really quite simple. TPO uses some accounting terminology, but not too much - most of it is plain English.
The Result:
In almost all cases, the outcome of the course is that you’ll make some changes to the way you run your business, so be prepared to make changes. We may suggest that your low average sale is because of xyz and trying an alternative method of selling. Or you may have a very high average sale but not enough customers, so we'll concentrate a bit more on your marketing.
Each day lasts between six to eight hours. So have lost of coffee ready and a good sleep the night before! We recommend that you video the training day so that you
review it at your leisure.
